Dodge Ridge is by far the closest, most accessible, family friendly wintersports area to the Bay Area and Central Valley. Every year Dodge Ridge works with hundreds of Schools, Scouts, Churches, Corporations, and Family groups to identify their unique needs and customize packages that will maximize their time on the mountain. Booking a Group Trip at Dodge Ridge is Fun and Easy:

Step 1: Gather a group of 20 or more for your visit; Schools and Scouts just need 10!

Step 2: Complete the Group Reservation Request Form and please fax it in to (209) 965 – 4810.

Step 3: Our Group Sales Department will contact you upon receiving the Reservation Form and will require you to complete and submit the Confirmation Worksheet one week prior to your group visit.

  • How do I contact Groups Sales at Dodge Ridge?
  • What does a group leader do?
    • The group leader is the single contact for Dodge Ridge.
    • The group leader should be the person to collect all data, ensure all forms are filled out correctly, and verify all release of liabilities forms are signed. Agreement for Release of Liability forms must be turned in with original signatures, no copies please.
    • The group leader will meet in the Groups Sales room on the day of the trip to purchase the lift tickets, lunch vouchers, lesson packages and rental equipment. We are here as early as 7:30 am ready to assist you!
  • How many people need to be in my group before I receive the group discounts?
    • Group rates are applicable for parties of 20+.
    • School and Scout groups only require 10+.
  • Do groups receive any chaperone tickets?
    • Yes! Every 21st lift ticket is complimentary for a chaperone! For every 20 paid guests, your group will earn one complimentary chaperone lift ticket, valid only on the day of your visit.
    • For school and scout groups, every 11th ticket is complimentary for a chaperone! Each school and scout group will receive one complimentary chaperone lift ticket per 10 paid guests, valid only on the day of your visit.
  • How do I receive my required forms?
    • All of our required forms are available on our web-site except the Agreement for Release of Liability Form. We will mail those to you once we receive the reservation request form. You can also call us and we can fax and mail most forms to you.
  • Is there a pre-season booking incentive?
    • Yes! As a ‘thank you’ for booking your group with us early, (before November 30th 2013) your group will receive the following;
      • Complementary ‘Welcome’ hot cocoa when you arrive and ‘Thank You’ cookies in a to go box for your trip home.
      • Group leaders will receive a 2013/2014 Dodge Ridge T-Shirt.
      • Dodge Ridge will be taking a photo of your group; it will be presented to you at the end of your visit.
      • Ask about our group leader & chaperone special offerings such as; complimentary rentals, lunch vouchers and ski clinics! (Max. 3 offerings per group visit.)
  • Can I book a group during the Holiday times?
    • Absolutely! We are more than happy to accommodate your group during a holiday, however please contact for us for holiday availability and pricing. (The holiday dates for the 2013/2014 season are; December 24-January 5, January 18- 20, February 14 -21.)

  • What is included in the equipment rental package?
    • Included in rental package for skiers: skis, boots, poles and helmets. Included in the rental package for snowboarders: snowboards, boots and helmets. We offer excellent ski and snowboarding equipment, fitted specifically to your ability by our knowledgeable Rental Center Staff. Please come prepared with knowledge of each individuals height, weight, and shoe and helmet size.
  • How do I decide the level for lessons?
    • Included in our Groups Welcome Packet is a details description of what each lesson level offers to help you best assign a level for each individual in your group.
  • Can I reschedule my booked trip?
    • We completely understand that unforeseen events arise making it necessary to change your plans. We are more than happy to assist you in rescheduling your group to date that is more convenient.
  • What form of payment do you take?
    • We prefer cash and credit cards. Please note that only one payment per group is accepted.
  • What time do the lessons start?
    • Levels 1, 2 & 3 start at 10:00am and finish at 12:00pm.
    • Levels 4-6 start at 1:00pm and finish at 2:30pm.
  • When should I arrive?
    • We are here and ready to assist you as early 7:30am. In order to get your group through rentals and to their lesson on time, we recommend you arrive no later than 8:00am.
      Having trouble getting here on time? No problem, just give us a call and we would be more than happy to accommodate your late start and get you on the mountain as soon as possible.
  • What do we bring?
    • Required Items
      • Eye protection; goggles or sunglasses.
      • Waterproof gloves.
      • Sun screen.
    • Recommends items
      • Waterproof pants and jacket.
      • Beanie or hat.
      • Dress in breathing/wicking base layers. (Only one pair of wicking/wool socks.)
      • Avoid cotton base layers.
    • In our Sports Shop we carry a large variety of wonderful items for your trip!
  • What kind of weather and roads can I expect?
    • Check out our web-site for the latest snow report and road conditions
      • For current chain requirements, road conditions, and weather forecast please listen to our snow phone by calling (209) 536-5300.
      • We are located on the Western side of the Sierras off all-weather Highway 108. There are no mountain passes to traverse and the great Cal Trans crews keep the highway well maintained. As always carry chains with you when traveling in the mountains, and contact Cal Trans as road conditions change throughout the day.
      • Be sure to check the Cal Trans Web Information Link, and then enter 108 into the Highway Number Search Box or call 1-800-427-7623. The highway does close for the winter, but not until approx. 30 miles past the exit to Dodge Ridge.
