Intro

Intro to Snow – Ski + Ride Lesson Program (Ages 2-5)

Program Details: Includes a 2 hour, one on one instruction, lift ticket, rental equipment and helmet

  • 2 hour program, featuring one on one instruction with a caring and qualified instructor.
  • Recommended to introduce young children who are 1st or 2nd timers seeking one on one instruction.
  • Available daily, on the hour, between 9am-2pm.
  • Instruction is customized to pique your child’s interest with time spent in the Kid’s Club and outside in the Children’s Learning Area.
  • Intro to Snow Ski & Ride lessons are available daily starting on the hour. (Lesson Reservation Examples:  9a-11a, 10a-12p,  11a-1p,  etc).
  • When your child is ready to graduate from the Intro to Snow program,  talk to their instructor about the next and best program for their progress.

Level 1 Skier

  • Introduction to terrain based features

Level 2 Skier

  • Welcome back snow and equipment warm-up exercises
  • Review pizza (wedge) movements; still and in motion
  • Practice balance and maintaining pizza (wedge)
  • Practice controlling speed with changing size of pizza (wedge)
  • Practice turning each direction
  • Practice linking turns
  • Introduce controlling speed with turn shape
  • Introduction to riding beginner chair lift
  • Ready to explore more beginner terrain

All lessons are nonrefundable but lessons can be rescheduled to another date or cancelled and issued to a resort credit. We do not issue refunds. Lessons are rescheduled or issued to an internal resort credit as outlined below:
  • Lessons rescheduled or cancelled in advance of 48 hours of the lesson date no rescheduling fee will be charged.
  • Lessons rescheduled or cancelled 48 hours prior to the lesson a $15 rescheduling fee will be charged. Requests to be received by 1p two days prior to lesson date.
  • Lessons rescheduled or cancelled 24 hours prior to the lesson a $30 rescheduling fee will be charged. Requests to be received by 1p the day prior to the lesson.
  • Lessons rescheduled or cancelled after 1p the day prior or the day of the lesson or when participants are no shows the full amount of the lesson will be charged.
  • There will be no refunds due to weather or snow conditions or for those who are unwilling to participate in the class.

Passholders kindly note all Season Long Kids Club, Progression and Summit Passholders are subject to the lesson cancellation rescheduling policy.

Kinder

Kinder Ski + Ride Lesson Program (Ages 4 – 5)

Program Details: Includes a 5 hour premium lesson program from 9:30am to 2:30pm. A maximum class ratio of 3 children to 1 instructor, a lift ticket, rental equipment, helmet, lunch & snacks!

  • A premium 5 hour program designed for the Ski or Ride beginner who excels in a small group setting
  • Highly recommended for 4 & 5 year old, first time Skiers and Riders. Level 1 only
  • Instruction will alternate between our specially designed indoor Kinder Room and on-snow instruction in our Children’s Learning Area.
  • Available on weekends and during holiday periods. Reservations can be made by calling (209) 965-3474
  • When your child is ready to graduate from Kinder Ski+Ride, please talk to the instructor for recommendations on the student’s next steps in skill development.

Kids Club Lesson Programs (Ages 4-12)

Group Lessons for Levels 1 – 6 Offered All Day & Afternoon (PM) Half Day

Watch your child progress as they work their way up through levels 1 to 6! Your child will receive an evaluation and suggestions for next steps.
