Dodge Ridge in partnership with the US Forest Service offer 8 campgrounds in and around the Pinecrest Area. In the heart of the Pinecrest recreation area, a short walk from Pinecrest Lake, Pinecrest Campground offers almost 200 sites suitable for a variety of tent and trailer / RV camping. The area is mostly forested and each site has a paved parking pad, picnic table and fire ring. There are no RV hookups available in any sites and no RV water filling stations. Pinecrest Lake Resort is the closest lodging to Pinecrest Lake and the closest AAA approved lodging facility to Dodge Ridge Ski Area. Winter Camping Options
Pioneer Trail Group Campground operated by Dodge Ridge under a special permit from the USFS offers groups of up to 100 people the opportunity to winter camp near Dodge Ridge. Pioneer trail sits at an elevation of 5,600 feet, in a wooded area near the southwest side of the 300-acre Pinecrest Lake in Stanislaus National Forest.
