Safety Tips:

It’s time to make your mom & dad proud.

  1. Look before you leap – scope out the jumps and park features first, then ski & ride your heart out if you know your landings are clear. Remember clear yourself out of the landing area after you have had your turn.
  2. Easy Style it – Start small and work your way up. Note: inverted aerials are not allowed
  3. Respect gets Respect – Regardless of how you decide to enjoy the mountain, always show courtesy to others, no matter what equipment they use or style they have, and be aware that there are elements of risk in skiing & snowboarding that common sense and personal awareness can help reduce. Observe the code listed below and share with others the responsibility for a great day on the mountain.
  • Always stay in control and be able to stop or avoid other people or objects
  • People ahead of you have right of way. It’s your responsibility to avoid them.
  • You must not stop where you obstruct a trail, or are not visible from above.
  • Whenever starting downhill or merging into a trail, look uphill and yield to others.
  • Always use devices to help prevent runaway equipment
  • Observe all posted signs and warnings. Keep off closed trails, park features and off any closed area.
  • Prior to using any lift or park feature you should have knowledge of how to use this equipment and these features, therefore we recommend you seek professional advice from the Snowsports School.
