Dodge Ridge hosted an afterhours rail jam in their base area on Saturday by turning an ordinary staircase handrail into a sick freestyle feature. The Dodge Ridge Park Crew brought in snow to cover the main staircase into the Creekside Plaza from the main parking lot, and a dozen competitors took turns riding the center handrail to demonstrate who had the best technical skill. A DJ provided the beats while a crowd of onlookers gathered at the balconies and in the plaza. Dean Stone took home a prize as the best skier, but Chris Miller took home the title of best snowboarder and best overall.
