Corby Fisher named the new Snowsports Director,
bringing Olympic and world-class experience to Dodge Ridge

Dodge Ridge President Sally Helm has named Corby Fisher as the new Snowsports School Director. Fisher will be responsible for providing leadership and vision to the Snowsports School and the Dodge Ridge Race Team. In addition to the Snowsports School, Fisher will also be in charge of the Events department. “This is a strong step for Dodge Ridge to provide a greater experience to our Snowsports customers and enhance Dodge Ridge’s family tradition” said Helm.

Fisher comes to Dodge Ridge with a long tradition of excellence in skiing. Growing up in Steamboat Springs, CO Fisher was on skis before he could walk. The Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club was a perfect fit for Fisher as he grew up racing his friends around Mt. Werner and eventually excelling in Nordic ski jumping.

- About Dodge Ridge -

We are located on the west slope of the majestic Sierra Nevadas on the north side of Yosemite. Close to the Bay Area, Dodge Ridge is a backyard like none other. We are a family owned and operated wintersports destination that has retained a close-to-home feel. Dodge Ridge prides itself on being focused on family while at the same time offering many amenities that you may not expect at first glance.

This last year, we have seen substantial growth and development while still retaining our focus on guest service and values. A $6 million redesign of our base area includes both a new lodge, a new drop-off area, and paved plaza areas. It is all about treating out guests right and getting them up on the slopes for their day of fun and enjoyment.

Our new 6000 square foot Family Lodge is the heart and soul of our core ideals. The lodge houses our guest services, children's snowsports school and our new children's snowplay program. Upstairs you can find the North Fork Bistro where one can grab a warm drink, a snack, and enjoy themselves in front of a crackling fire.

With over 800 skiable acres, and a 1600 foot vertical drop Dodge Ridge has something for the most avid skiers or riders. Challenging terrain and five terrain parks are enough to keep anyone coming back for more. We are not just another resport but a place one can call home too.
